Some Fall Pics....

Maggie was the cutest strawberry for Halloween ever....sadly I was so distracted by her cuteness I didn't get any good full length shots so this will have to do.

Maggie and Helen love boxes, they made their own game together....

...I guess it's "duck" with out the goose:)

Maggie's best buddies in the world....Silas and Helen...Maggie is the runt of the group.

Daddy put up the hammock and the girls loved it.

Maggie is beginning to like to dress up...she picked these out herself and sported them at 6:30am for with her morning milk...I guess it's never to early in the morning for bunny ears.

Priceless....Mags would never let you paint her nails, but her loved lining up the bottles.

Grandma Armstrong....the girls love the table you sent Mags!

 Just a sweet smile
She also loves Grandpa Jenison's bench too!

I think this picture speaks for it's self...

 Daddy's girls!

Life is a fun adventure with this little explorer!!

Daddy Daughter Day!!!

Today Kathy went to Women's Retreat in Verdugo Pines. This left me (Kyle) and Maggie all to ourselves all day long! What a test! So I had to snap some shots to make sure mommy didn't miss out on all the day's happenings. Enjoy Kath! (:

Waking up from a nice midday nap always gets things started off well. She fell asleep pretty quickly because in the morning we ate breakfast, bought fruit at Vons, went over to Uncle Casey's house, played in Grandpa's truck, led daddy on a wild nature hike through the desert, bird watched, played in the front yard back home when daddy weed-whacked, had a small snack, and then crashed!

Banana's are true friends...along with the Backyardigans of course.

Pretty roses for the kitchen!

Waiting for french fries at McDonald's...

Pounding fries at McDonald's, while keeping her eye on the play place, which turned out to be more for "big kids" ages 3–12. Neither of us were welcome.

But the playground at Lancaster City Park would have us! And thousands of other families with kids because it was such a beautiful Saturday.

Maggie gets a little greedy in her choice for a pumpkin at L and 10th West.

Unfortunately, all the rides and slides and bounce houses were too big for Maggie and too little for daddy. So we settled for a wagon ride, pretending like we were out to pick up some massive pumpkins.

And the classic wheel barrel race never gets old to Maggie.

My favorite picture of her today. LOVE her!

Even though she cried because she couldn't go in the petting zoo (two goats and five chickens), she was happy to take a picture with dad. And dad promised a petting zoo for free!

At grandpa and grandma's! Can you find the goats? Maggie did right away!

Zoe and Maggie are practically best friends now...well, they're getting there.

Uncle Cody did an excellent job reading to Mags, despite her fetish with the dry erase marker you use in this book. Grandma thinks she can handle more than she really can.

Push-up contests are easier when you shed some unnecessary clothing. I just stuck to fully-clothed though.

Tackled.

Hide and seek. I looked forever! Can you see her?

Had to get some branches off the trees in order to feed the goats. Maggie assures me that this tool helps for the bigger branches.

She took a bath back home, we returned to grandpa's for Del Taco, she ate parts of our red burritos, and  she watched USC smash Notre Dame. She tells me she wants to be a kicker for professional football; what should I tell her?

All in all, awesome day. BUT our conclusion is that it is WAY better when mom is around! We missed you, mommy!

Helen is Back

So our fall school year began with not-so-little-Helen coming back for another year. Helen has become part of our little family, even calling Maggie "My Maggie" and her "Buddy". Having 2 kids under the age of 2 to care for all day makes my days fuller, but it's joy to watch them play and love each other so dearly.

A friend gave us these pink cowgirl boots and they are just Helen's size...Maggie
quickly found a pair of hand me down boots in her drawer. So it was officially Boots Day
in the Jenison Home.

They love giving each other hugs...this one landed in a nice fall but they just giggled about it.

Maggie sharing her PowerWheels.

Daddy invited the coolest game ....I like to call it "Paint With the Gutter Water", they each had a paint brush and then dipped them in the water and painted masterpieces on our drive way. They loved it!

My little artists.

She might be small but Maggie isn't going to let anyone push her around.

Each day is a new adventure with this mischievous one!

August and Everything After...

I seriously do think I have a dream job. I get to spend every day with the coolest kid in the world. Maggie is just a joy, full of so much life and curiosity. She is our little explorer and I get to show her the world...I mean how cool is that! Below are just some random shots of our lives with the Magster.

Great Grandma Jan gave us her cupboard from when she was a little girl. With some new paint I think even Mother Hubbard would be proud... Maggie always finds a creative way to enjoy her new treasure!

Piano lessons begin...a standing ovation already?

Water Fight!

Hmm, sometimes you just can't hide when you do what your not supposed to:)

and Ukalele lessons too!!

One of Maggie's new favorite things to do is play in the car.

One of Mama's favorite things to do is snuggle with Mags.

Daddy dragged Mags all over the San Deigo waters and she loved it!

Can you find Mags? Grandma Armstrong does this picture look familiar... I think I remember one of me as a little girl just like it.

Maggie was pleasently suprised as water shooted out of this hole!

Seeing Shammoo for the first time.

Thank you Brownells for giving us a Pow Pow PowerWheels!!

Exhaustion!

Always trying to find another place to fit into.

Our little Chef!

She has found her perch, she loves sitting on Island while Mama is busy in the kitchen

Maggie loves books and we pray she will one day "Get Wisdom" as she learns God's Word and falls in love with Christ!
